[Also in Division F4] A rear-view mirror assembly comprises a housing 1 adjustably mounted by a ball joint 7 and a foot 3 on a vehicle body 2, a mirror proper 5 mounted at one end of the housing in an S-section sealing ring 24 and an electric lamp assembly 6 at the other end of the housing, the assembly 6 including a transparent cover 14 drawn against a sealing ring 17, around the closed end of the housing formed as a lamp reflector 22, by screws 10 engaging a ring 26 connected by a sleeve 25, Fig. 2 (not shown), with the sealing ring 24, whereby the latter and the mirror 5 are simultaneously drawn against the open end of the housing. The compression of the sealing ring 24 is limited by the abutment of the ring 26 against the reflector 22.
