A plough is arranged to rise over small obstructions and to yield on meeting a larger obstruction. A plough beam 23 is pivoted on an L-shaped member 21 which is pivoted on an implement frame 14. A link 29 on the frame engages the top of the beam 23, a roller 28 engaging in a slot in the top of the beam. A roller 51 on the member 21 engages a cam 35a to allow the plough to rise, the roller becoming disengaged from a hump on the cam 35a against the force of springs 44. Any increase of resistance to movement of the plough causes the roller 28 to disengage from its slot against the force of a spring 63 to allow the plough to pivot rearwardly.
