Each distribution channel 5 in the seat of a ball point pen tip has an initial section which communicates with the central ink duct 2 and being in a first plane passing through the longitudinal axis of the duct 2. The channel 5 then continues in a second plane at an angle to the first plane. As shown, the channel 5 may fork into two branches 6, each branch lying in planes, each at an angle to the first plane.
