[Also in Division F1] In a combined pump and mass-flow meter in which a bladed rotor 4 is driven by a motor 13 to deliver fluid through a torque measuring member having stationary blades 6 mounted on a stator 7 secured to a casing 1 by struts 8, subdivided by slots 9 and provided with a variable resistance strain gauge 10 the outlet angles and of the blades 5, 6 are so related that no torque is exerted on the torque-measuring member when fluid passes through the meter with the blades 5 stationary. The outlet angles of the blades of the torque measuring member are equal to the outlet angles of the rotor blades, the total thickness of the blades at their outlet ends being equal to the total thickness of the blades at their inlet ends.
