A thermosetting polyepoxy resin mixture e.g. a glycerylpolyether of a polyvalent phenol or alcohol contains a cyclic polycarbonic acid anhydride, and a epoxy alcohol having 1-8 carbon atoms, for example glycerol or a monoglyceryl ether or ethylene glycol the ratio of epoxy equivalents to anhydride equivalents being 0.5:1 to 4:1, the epoxy alcohol content being between 5 and 95%.
