[Also in Division C2] Compounds of the general formula: in which R is a C 1 -C 6 alkyl group which may be substituted by 1-3 halogen atoms or a phenyl or benzyl radical optionally substituted by 1-3 halogen atoms and/or a C 1 -C 4 alkyl group and/or a nitro group and X is hydrogen or chlorine are used as active ingredients in fungicidal compositions. The compositions may contain solid or liquid diluents or carriers and may contain emulsifying and/or dispersing agents. The active compounds may also be used in admixture with other fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, nematocides, herbicides, plant nutrients and soil structure improvement agents.
