The oxygen atoms or molecules in ionic or neutral conditions are separated and concentrated by purely physical methods e.g. by electrical or mechanical effects. - They may be combined to form ozone molecules in an ionisation chamber. - These are then deflected and concentrated in an electrical field, or separated centrifugally.
