Toxic vapour micro analysis by condensation nuclei technique

摘要

Traces of a reactive vapour in a sample atmosphere are detected by introducing water into the sample atmosphere being tested, reacting any vapour in it with a gaseous reagent by use of corona discharge electrodes to form condensation nuclei and detecting the condensation nuclei by condensation nuclei measuring techniques. It is used to detect substances e.g. insecticides in the atmosphere which are toxic to animal life.
