Warp beam of the type with end discs having a threaded hub adjustably screwed on the ends of the beam and held in the adjusted position by a lock nut, but in which internally threaded hub bushes constructed of a better load-carrying material than that of the disc are fitted in the hubs of each end disc, and are provided with an extension enclosing a lock nut and on which the disc is supported by the hub which widens conically towards the disc end as well as by radial ribs.
