Slip and slide generation in the drive axles of tracked vehicles is introduced by using tachogenerators or electronic speed transmitters. Any incorrect slip transmissions, which are produced by errors in the speed generation is avoided. - Each drive axle is fitted with two speed transmitters. Each of these groups of transmitters will produce signals in pairs, which are fed to difference measuring networks and compared with each other. The arrangement is such that when a max. speed difference is obtained on two axles, two of the networks will produce a signal.
