摘要
The main-rotor head for a helicopter has a gimbal mounting on the end of a motor-driven shaft, carrying main blades rigidly linked with a constant pitch relationship plus stabilising weights and controllable via a swashplate and a rod-plus lever linkage. For unmanned equipment-carrying, helicopters the stabilising weights are given the form of (conventional) relatively heavy auxiliary blades (6) carried by a rod (3) passing through the gimbal-mounting's centre and rotatable via the swashplate (9) and linkage (7,8). The linkage greatly amplifies swashplate tilting movement. (DS).
