Production of noncaking blends comprised of sodium tripolyphosphate hexahydrate and sodium nitrilotriacetate monohydrate or dihydrate. The sodium tripolyphosphate is used in the form of its high- and/or low-temperature modification(s) and a fine mist of an aqueous sodium nitrilotriacetate solution having a temperature between about 0 DEG and 80 DEG C. is sprayed thereonto. When an excess of water is used, a gas and/or air stream is simultaneously passed over the sprayed material to evaporate the water in excess.
