1323940 Angular bending C U PEDDING- HAUS 23 Nov 1970 [3 Dec 1969] 55603/70 Heading B3E A bending device as described in Specification 1,286,865 is characterized by an adjustable delay circuit, comprising an adjustable potentiometer which is arranged to vary the timing constant of a condenser/resistor link, for allowing a bending operation to continue through a supplementary angle after bending of a main angle has been achieved so as to compensate for irregularities which occur in the main bending operation. In operation a relay 27 starts to deenergize when the main bending angle has been bent and causes a contact 57 to close. The closure of contact 57 allows the bending motor to remain activated by a relay 56 and causes a condenser 54 to be charged within a time dependent on the adjustment of a preselected potentiometer 53SP1/SP, 53SP11/SP or 53SP111/SP. When a sufficient charge has built up in the condenser 54 it is discharged through a glass lamp 55 and relay 56. This excites the relay and causes the bending motor to be deactivated.
