A pneumatic logical relays device for remote controlling and monitoring a compressed air starting internal-combustion engine comprises a pre-lubrication oil distributer 50, a fuel supply distributer 49 and air starting distributer 48 for respectively delivering pre-lubrication oil, fuel and starting air to the engine, a distributer 44 controlled by series connected safety means 45, 46, 47, actuated by the engine and delivering a safety pressure when the engine is in operating condition, starting means 41 delivering starting trigger pulses, first control means 11 receiving the starting trigger pulses, a storage unit controlled by the first control means 11 and by the safety pressure delivering distributer 44 second control means 13 controlled by the storage unit a first time lag device 17, 62, 63 with a rated transit time T i controlled by the second control means 13, a first unit controlling the pre-lubrication distributer and controlled by the second control means 13, and by the first time-lag device 17, 62, 63, the first unit 16 opening the pre-lubrication distributer upon receiving a trigger pulse from the storage unit, a second unit controlling the fuel distributer and controlled by the storage unit and by the safety pressure delivering distributer 44, the second unit opening the fuel distributer upon receiving a trigger pulse delivered by the storage unit or a safety pressure delivered by the safety pressure delivering distributer 44 and a third unit controlling the starting air distributer 48 and controlled by the first time lag, device, by the storage unit and by the safety pressure delivering distributer. A third unit opens the distributer upon receiving a control pressure from the first time lag device and closes the distributer upon receiving a control pressure from the storage unit or a safety pressure from the safety pressure delivering distributer.
