The hydraulic motors for the control of the advancing and rotational drives are positioned between a pressure vessel and electronically controlled servo valves, which are in connection with a pressure-free sump, as well as being in electrical connection with a control- and adjusting unit. Connected to the unit is a transmitter, which is positioned on the crank shaft of the rolling mill. Positioned on the shafts of the motors are actual value transmitters, which are also connected to the control- and adjusting unit. The invention maintains the chosen angle of rotation, with a continuous adjustment of angle and advancement.
