Alkaline earthed oxides are mixed by addition in soln. in quench soln. plasma torch or electric arc with oxides of Gp III siO2, TiO2 and/or oxides of VI or VII sub-gps. and/or oxides of Co.Ni,Fe or B2O3. or their cpds. which decompose thermally before the sinter temp. is reached, so as to produce a homogeneous mixt. of additive and alkaline earth oxide during the sinter cycle.
