Synthetic leather for shoes and bags consists of a sheet of plastic material bonded to =1 sheet of textile material by a layer of plastic foam. Specif. the sheet of plastic material consists of a polyurethane and one of the sheets of textile material is a nonwoven sheet. The synthetic leather has a lining connected to the nonwoven sheet by means of plastic foam. The various layers are held together by bonding or melting. The leather resembles real leather with suppleness and porosity.
