Title device is constructed as a pressure chamber which is (i) partially closed by a membrane mechanically coupled to a transducer, and (ii) connected to a pneumatic pipe line open at the end and into which the pressure pipe of an air supply plant opens. The apparatus is installed in the higher level water with the open end of the pneumatic pipe line in the lower level water at the same height as the apparatus. Used for measuring the pressure difference in water and effluent-purification plants, pref. in dam-producing equipment e.g. weirs, partitions, with an upper and lower water level.
