Cold-resistant liquid detergent cotains, by wt., 5-20 % difficulty soluble tensides, e.g. alkyl- and/or alkylbenzene sulphonates mixed with 2-10 (2-5) % (w.r.t. total wt.) Na nitrilotriacetate or Na ethylene diamine tetraacetate and as solubiliser, 2-20 (5-10) % alkali or NH4 salt of aromatic sulphonic acid mixtures consisting of (a) sulphonic acids derived from an aromatic hydrocarbon fraction of 160-200 degrees C boiling range and contg. almost 100% aromatics according to ASTM B 1319, or mixtures, in 10-90 to 90-10 % ratio, of (b) solvent naphtha sulphonic acid with cumene, xylene- or toluene- sulphonic acid, or of (c) xylene sulphonic acid with toluene sulphonic acid, (d) cumene sulphonic acid with toluene sulphonic acid or (e) xylene sulphonic acid with cumene sulphonic acid, or their ternary or quaternary mixtures.
