Title material, such as insulating, wall covering, packaging, upholstery and filter material, is produced by (a) placing a layer of filler material on a support consisting of a fleece or fabric, (b) covering the layer of filler material with a fleece, and (c) bonding together the layer at a no. of points distributed over the whole surface, so that the filler is fixed between the cover layers. Specif. the filler consists of pieces, spheres, particles or short fibres of a synthetic resin. The cover layer consists of a fleece of synthetic fibres of great length.
