The beading section is a right angled triangle with straight or curved hypotenuse. Its shortest side is tongued into a groove in the edge of the mating wall or door. Since the beading is flush mounted inside and out, and on an open door is flush with lateral walls such that the hinge is concealed, the device is aesthetically and functionally satisfying. In addition it acts as its own handle. Manufacture is by simple pressing or drawing, hinge parts being incorporated.
