The magnetic coupling used in a control system for an induction motor is produced by a coil of fine wire in the rotor and the stator. Zener diodes are inserted in the control circuit of the thyristors to eliminate the influence of the leakage flux of the main motor field. In addition frequency filters separate the control signal from the rotor current frequency.
