A laundering iron with a spray nipple has a pump and a pumping chamber which a feed and a delivery connection, one wall of which can be displaced and acts as the pump piston. Between the pump piston and the delivery pipe there is a connecting piece of elastomeric material which, with a hole through the piston, forms the outlet valve. The pump chamber itself in which the piston moves, is a tubular bellows formed as whole of an elastomer with the connecting pice. The piston is designed as a locating cup and works with a similar detail to retain a spring within the pump chamber. Positive sealing of the outlet valve preventing leakage and soiling of the laundry.
