The wall sections are truncated hollow cones and are transported to site suspended from buoys filled for positive buoyancy with fluid lighter than water. By pumping of the fluid/water in and out of the buoy, buoyancy may be accurately controlled firstly to lower the sections to the sea bed and/or lower sections of the tower and secondly for automatic separation of the suspension bear.
