Format adjustment.-Stop recesses 30 on claws 29 are manually engaged with a bar on segments 11 of the storage drum 5, this releases limit switch 36 which removes safety magnet plunger 56 thus allowing pinion 59, on shaft 44, access to a toothed segment 60 which achieves the required format by moving storage drum segments 8. A common slide scale device on the outside of drive gear 68 indicates the relative dispositions of the drums and of the storage drum and sheet support means. Segments 8 which were loosened for adjustment are fixed by tightening clamping nuts 19.
