Armoured vehicle protector against semiautomatically guided missile - has light source supported on articulated arm diverting missile path

The light source which is mounted on the armoured vehicle interferes with the housing command system of the missile. The intensity of the light source is higher within the same spectral range than that of the missile. The source light signal is used to provide faulty information to the missile command and guiding system. The light source is mounted on a long, articulated, height adjustable arm on the armoured vehicle. This arm can be swung from vertical to horizontal position. Under the light source is arranged a disc-shaped shield which screens the vehicle itself. This protection system is used to protect armoured vehicles which are on the move during attack.
