Moulding sand processor - with horizontally supported revolving screening drum fitted with helical guide plates

The horizontal screening drum is filled with balls and revolved by a motor. Ground sand drops through the screen openings into a funnel; oversize is recycled by tangential scrapers and finally discharged together with any metallic parts. The material is transported through the drum by helical guide plates which are arranged on strips of the internal walls of the double-walled drum.
