Generation of echo effects in recording and playing back audio tapes - involves using two parallel tracks and spaced heads

The production and resproduction of echo sound effects by amateur users of mono or stereo tape recorders is simplified by this device. Apart from a double head which spans two parallel tracks of te magnets tape there are two individual heads in front of it. One of these can be moved laterally along one track of the tape, its magnetic core being arranged in a guide. Movement may be effected by means of a micro-meter screw whose spindle end is in contact with the head core and is subject to pressure from a spring.
