The circuit comprises a set of bipolar relays for a tariff circuit switching, with a relay allocated to a tariff switch and to the maximum switch whose contacts lie in the bipolar relay circuits. The relay coil allocated to the maximum switch is in parallel with it, and the relay coil allocated to the tariff switch is in series with it. The bipolar relay can be connected through one of two antiparallel diodes to the mains by a changeover switch belonging to the relay allocated to the tariff switch.
