Safety system for wheel rim of tubeless tyre - with sealed bolts screwed through rim to secure tyre wall

The wheel rim is provided with a number of holes positioned around the outside ledge, on the inside of the fitted tyre wall. The outside of the holes are fitted with captive bolts welded on the rim. Special securing bots are screwed into the holes, from the outside of the wheel rim after the tyre is fitted. The head of each bolt is sealed against the thread by a sealing washer while the free end is profiled to form a safety stub which prevent the tyre from leaving the rim if it is deflated. To remove the tyre the bolts are simply unscrewed.
