The valve has an inlet for connection to a compressor, an outlet for connection to a pneumatic load, e.g. an accumulator, and an exhaust port, through which air can be passed, via a vent valve, from the inlet when the pressure at the outlet exceeds a certain amount. The valve has movable member biassed to closed position by a spring. A check valve, when open, allows air from outlet to move the movable member to its opened position. A pilot valve has manually settable open and closed positions and is acted on by a rod having a finger grip, and a locking bar cooperates to retain the rod in either position.
