Sealed plastic bar assembly window wing frame - with grooves accessible from outside for filling with sealing material

The frame of the window wing is composed of four strips or bars, esp. of plastics, joined together at the corners. At the abutting surface of at least one of each pair of adjoining bars there is a groove or spline, positioned as to be accessible from outside after assembly, which can be filled with a sealing medium, and this may extend over the whole length of the abutting surface. Where there is a groove or spline on both abutting surfaces of adjoining bars these may run together and complement one another to form a single entity. Putty or a similar sealing mass can be pressed in to provide completely damp-proof closure.
