Rolls shutter consists of a plurality of profiled plastic slats that are connected together and are mutually displaceable for mounting and dismounting purposes, a deformable part being present in each slat for engaging in a cavity of an adjacent slat. In each slat a zone is defined by cuts, but is still connected with the remaining parts of the slat, this zone being stressed relative to the remaining zones, this stressing holding the zone in the cavity of the other slat. Mutual movement of the individual slats can be securely prevented when desired. Individual slats can be easily mounted/dismounted, and can be produced without requiring complicated, expensive heating/cooling devices. The engaging mechanism between the slats is resistant to repeated use.
