Versatile use of telephone handsets is accomplished using jacks on extending leads making them mobile and a variety of handset shapes adapted for particular applications are described. The patent covers the use of hooks and G clamps in supporting the handsets and allied apparatus. This includes the use of springs, screws, threaded mountings and trapped rings. The varied forms of attachment and shapes of microphone and earphone mouldings are intended for use by programmers, secretaries, workshop foremen, stenographers etc.
