Missile guidance system - uses trajectory curve selected from family of curves based on two markers

Where the energy radiating from the target is used for guidance, the duration of travel of the energy on trajectories including the receiver markers, which transmit on reception of energy, is compared, and the result used to make the missile follow a curve based on the markers and on which the target is situated. Two markers (B1, B2) can be used, the durations compared being that of the trajectory from the target to one marker, then to the other marker, and finally to the missile, and that of the trajectory from target to second marker, then to first marker and then to missile.
