Base for road hazard warning triangle - has two pivotal legs nesting under third leg fixed to the triangle

The warning triangle consists of three strips of reflecting material (1, 2 & 3). The bottom strip is mounted on a metal strip which is in turn fixed to one of three legs (7). This leg runs under the sign and has a foot (7a) with a pointed end (7b). The foot is angled at approximately 135 degrees to the underside of the sign. At the opposite end from this foot there is a pivot joining two other legs (9 & 10) with similar feet. These legs can open from the folded position to approximately 90 degrees the first leg. The sign can withstand high winds without overturning.
