The method of making a connection to transformer output terminals is for where the connection may need to be changed. The connection arrangement provides both fixed and free items, the coupling arranged to give a high number of points of contact, automatic snap fitting and constant pressure over the contact areas. The fixed elements carries at its connection end an elliptically shaped boss supported by two side flanges. This boos fits into a shaped cavity made up from two metal leaves each having a roughly hemispherical recess. At the opposite end of each leaf is a further contacting point, the two leaves being held together by two springs.
