1332527 Oxidation catalysts SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 19 April 1971 [22 Jan 1970] 5937/73 Divided out of 1332526 Heading B1E Catalysts comprising titanium in combination with an inorganic siliceous solid are prepared by impregnating the solid with a substantially non-aqueous solution of a titanium compound in a non-basic, inert, oxygen-substituted hydrocarbon as solvent, removing solvent and calcining the impregnated solid. Promoters are compounds of magnesium and alkali metals.
