Appts. for shaping dried stone fruits comprises (a) a roller conveyor situated above a fruit support plate and comprising a chain consisting of equally spaced roller components (b) means for rotating the roller components as the chain is moved in the length direction over the support plate, (c) a rotary roller head with a series of rotary head rollers supported radially w.r.t. the rotary shaft of the rotary head, the shaft running perpendicularly to the direction of motion of the chain and being installed above the support plate and roller conveyor, while the rotary head rollers are supported radially in a track bringing each roller into position spaced from, but adjacent to, the support plate; the rotary head rollers are spaced arcuately at distances equal to that between the roller components, (d) means for rotating the rotary head to bring the rotary head rollers into positions situated between two adjacent roller components (e) means for rotating the rotary head rollers during at least that part of the motion round the rotary head shaft, whereby they are brought into the positions described in (d), (f) a slotted support construction situated at the top end of the support plate for the reception of the fruit displaced by the roller conveyor.
