Two network forming strips are wound to form a resistor-capacitor network roll. Each strip is a sheet of dielectric material having a contiguous layer of metal, on one side thereof, formed in an elongated conductive path which extends back and forth lengthwise along the strip in serpentine fashion. An electrical connection is made at each end of the network roll with an end portion of a different one of the conductive paths to form an R-C network therebetween having a resistance which is significant with respect to the capacitance thereof.
