Cpds. of formula (I) (where R1 is H, halogen or NO2; R2 is 1-5C alkyl R3 is 1-5C alkyl, 3-5C alkenyl or alkynyl, 1-5C alkoxy-1-5C alkyl or 1-5C alkylthio-1-5C alkyl; X is O or S) have insecticidal, acaricidal fungicidal and nematocidal activity. They are pref. prepd. by reacting the corresp. chloromethyl-substd. cpd. with MSP(O)(OR2)SR3 (where M = H or a monovalent metal).
