An extruded profile section (10) is used with alternate raised bearing surface strips (11) and sunken support strips (12). The air ducts (13) run below the latter with bubble ports (14, 15, 16) discharging from the ducts into the recess (19) between adjacent surface strips (11). The air ducts are sealed at one end of the profile (10) whilst at the other end they can be coupled to the air inlet of a known compressed air distributor. Pref. the profile ends in bevelled edges (17, 18). Several profile sections (10) can be joined together to form one wide grating and the sections are made of an elastic, slightly flexible plastic or rubber. Chains of lead weights can be inserted in additional longitudinal channels in the profile to weight it down.
