Twisting electric stranded cables - driving cable winding head at least at changes of twisting pitch or direction in the direction exerted by strands

Cables twisted from strands are wound onto a mandrel and the mandrel is driven in the direction exerted on the mandrel by the strands at least at the beginning of the winding process. Method is for winding electric cables or telecommunication cables onto mandrels following twisting of strands and prior to coating with insulation and protective sleeves. Winding of cables leads to relaxing of stresses in the strand, prevents twisting of cables or strands and leads to low noise level in communication cables.
