Reflecting road guide line marker plug - with slope at angle to road surface and about one centimetre height

The plug, incorporated in a guide line marking system on a road surface, has reflecting surfaces set vertically to oncoming beams of light, running continuously at its sides, and a bevelled banking section set in front of these. The banking section (1) is inclined at an angle roughly between 30 deg. and 75 deg., and has a height of 0.5 to 1.5 cm., pref. 1 cm. Wear of the retro-reflecting surfaces is considerably reduced, and less dirt is collected on them, resulting in a much more prolonged retention of the light-reflecting capacity, in spite of constant overrunning by the tyres of road vehicles.
