Truck for flat or round bottom loads - truck bed has V-section recess stabilizing round bottom loads

The vehicle chassis consists of two longitudinal beams (1), (2) joined by a central part (31). This part is curved or polygonal and concave upwards. The central part is connected to two flat parts (32), (33). This central part can be covered for carrying flat bottomed loads. For curved bottom loads it is removed and the base of the load seats in the concave recess. Several cylindrical loads, of differing diameters, may be carried at the same time. This type of floor increases the possible uses of the vehicle. Within the bottom of the recess may be attached a pivotal flap which reinforces the recess covering plate when it is vertical.
