Suspension for agricultural spray boom - has lifting jack pivotal by shock absorbing side jacks

The suspension consists of a rectangular frame in square or rectangular tube. The short lower side of the frame is reinforced and bears at its centre a pin on which pivots the free end of a piston whose head is inside a cylinder. A conventional spray boom is suspended from the cylinder by a pin and a lug. A second pin and lug secures the boom firmly to the cylinder. The cylinder is connected to a hydro-pneumatic accumulator and to a hydraulic fluid reservoir. Two smaller single action lateral jacks can adjust the tilt of the boom by acting upon the side of the cylinder. The boom can be allowed to swing with a pendulum action by removing the second pin and can be raised or lowered by operating the main jack.
