摘要
The two abutment surfaces of each brick have four trapezoid indentations, in the shape of half a splayed-out U, with a flat bottom. Each indentation may also be triangular (half a V) or composite (half a U with rounded bottom). When placed side by side, two bricks form cavities (5, 6). Mortar is injected mechanically into these cavities, thereby forming the vertical grouting. A compressor is coupled to the mortar injection machine, filling in the cavities. The average width of each indentation is one centimetre roughly, and the size of the cavities varies between two and a half centimetres external width to one and a half centimetres internal side.
