摘要
A series resonance dipole is constructed from two parallel conductors bent into a U-shape. The length of each U conductor is a quarter wave-length or a multiple. This depends on whether series of parallel resonance is to be generated at short circuited or open circuited terminations. The dipole connections (1, 2) are on one end of each of the conductors on opposite sides. The conductors can be part of a coaxial cable which is surrounded by a ferrite ring. The resonance circuits are formed by the distributed inductances of the conductors and the distributed capacitors between the conductors. The resonance frequency is also a function of the absolute length of the conductor. It is possible to use the same length to produce two independent resonant frequencies.
