A connector for protective tubing (40), surrounding pipes (8) e.g. for diesel fuel, comprises a base member (2) supporting the pipes and rigidly secured as by welding to the end of one tube. The other tube has an end portion sliding between inner and outer annular portions 41, 42) of the base member. To seal the sliding joint the base member is connected to the adjoining tube by a bellows (49) welded at its one end to the outer annular portion and at its other end to the outside of the adjoining tube. Alternatively the tubing may comprise an inner corrugated and an outer plain tube both secured to the base member.
