The actuator is intended for moving contacts forced against stationary contact by leaf springs. The moving contact (1) is carried by a soft leaf or rod spring (3), which is firmly clamped at one side. Its free end engages a pair of deflectable, hard leaf springs (4a, 4b), carried by a slider (8) moving orthogonally to the plane of the leaf or rod spring (3). Preferably a spring buffer (6) extends between the leaf spring pair, which is clamped in an adjusting joint (7) in the slider, together with the leaf spring pair. The slider may be moved by the armature of a flat armature relay, and may be fitted with a resetting spring.
